Do I need riding experience?

No riding experience is needed. The horses are calm and well-suited to beginners, and your guide will walk you through everything before you set off. The ride is designed to be enjoyed by everyone in your group, regardless of whether you’ve been on a horse before.

Does the tour start from Barcelona?

The Penedès has been producing wine for centuries, but it’s the breakaway Corpinnat collective that has set a new benchmark for the region. Founded in 2015 by a small group of artisan estates and registered as a premium EU brand in 2017, Corpinnat exists to distinguish the best producers from the mass-market Cava houses — with strict standards that include 100% organic, hand-harvested grapes, estate vinification, and a minimum 18 months ageing. The collective started with six wineries and has grown to 22, with new members joining each year.

On this tour, you’ll taste these wines not in a shop or a city bar, but at the estate where they were made — paired to a private lunch, with the vineyards outside the window.

Your Horse Riding & Wine Tour, from start to finish

9:00am — Private pick-up from Barcelona. Sit back as we head into the Penedès countryside, around an hour from the city.

10:00am — Arrive at the vineyard, one of the founding members of the Corpinnat collective. Your guide introduces the estate before you head out on horseback through the working vineyards.

10:00am–11:30am — A gentle 90-minute ride through the vineyard landscapes of the Penedès. Suitable for all experience levels — no riding background needed.

11:30am — Back at the estate, a glass of Corpinnat to mark the end of the ride.

12:00pm — Private guided tour of the winery. See where the wines are made, aged, and bottled — with the people who make them.

1:00pm — Sit down to a private three-course lunch at the estate, paired with six Corpinnat wines selected to match each course. No shared tables, no other groups — just your party and the vineyard around you.

4:00pm — Depart the estate and head back toward Barcelona.
