Our Penedès wine tours are crafted to provide you with a truly unique experience of the region. Your adventure starts with private access to two of the most respected Corpinnat wineries, including an excellent family-run cellar that can trace its winemaking traditions dating back to the 12th century. After exploring each one, you enjoy a guided tasting of their exceptional cavas and wines.
The day continues with a delicious three-course lunch with wine or cava at a lovely local restaurant surrounded by vineyards.

What you'll experience on the Penedes wine tour
On the Penedès wine tour, you will visit some of the area’s top wineries, where the producers or winemakers provide special insights into their winemaking skills. The tour includes walks through vineyards, explanations of sustainable farming practices, and visits to traditional cellars where you’ll learn about the production of both still and sparkling wines. The wine tastings on the Penedes wine tour allow you to try the best brut nature sparkling wines at each winery. Depending on the wineries visited on the tour the wines may be paired with some local cheeses and meats or chocolate produced in the nearby town of Sant Sadurni.
The menu for lunch is traditional Catalan cuisine, using fresh, seasonal ingredients which are served with selected wines that highlight the Penedès terroir.

Corpinnat vs Cava
Everyone has heard of Spain's famous sparkling wine, Cava, but what about the newcomer on the scene, Corpinnat?
Corpinnat is a brand name registered by 11 of the most well-known, traditional producers of Catalonia's famous fizz. They want to distinguish their sparkling wines from the Cava of the more prominent industrial producers in the Penedes.
The word Corpinnat derives from the Catalan word "Cor," meaning heart, and the Latin "Pinna,” meaning rock, referring to the region’s rocky soils. Corpinnat's producers come from the heart of the Penedes region, and 47 of their sparkling wines were rated between 91 and 97 points by Parker in 2022. The quality and history that the Corpinnat brand represents are why we visit its producers on our wine tours.

A fantastic wine tour of the Priorat
Huge thank you to Anthony for a fantastic wine tour of the Priorat. We booked everything with very little notice and Anthony was very communicative and was able to book a fantastic winery that we did not have on our original list. The schedule was also flexible during the day itself and with some extras that really completed the experience. I highly recommend booking through them!
Amazing custom Penedes cava & chocolate tour!
We recently did a full day Penedes tour with Anthony and it was one of the best highlights of our trip to Spain! We specifically wanted to explore the smaller, high quality cava wineries and Anthony put together a visit to 3 very special wineries. He also added in a surprise visit to the Simon Coll chocolatier, which was delicious and allowed us to buy some holiday gifts. For lunch, we had a fantastic 3 course meal at a lovely restaurant with great views. Everything is included in the price, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the winery visits, tastings and lunch without thinking of anything.
A wonderful trip for our family of four
Anthony planned a wonderful trip for our family of four (kids aged 8 and 11). The hotels were fantastic and perfectly located, the restaurants he recommended were so good and at places we would have never found on our own, and the activities were so great (horse back riding, biking through vineyards, sunset hikes and wine tasting through vineyards).

Anthony and his team are amazingly knowledgeable and connected to great wineries, restaurants, boutiques, and other businesses/owners. They arranged an incredible day learning about Cava and Corpinnat sparkling wines and Spanish still wines, along with local cuisine, history and culture. We met experts and fun people, and got to taste so many excellent flavors -- such a beautiful day!
Perfect day tour to Penedes cava region
My wife and I enjoyed a memorable day in Penedes with Anthony and would highly recommend his tours. Ours was a visit to two wineries - Can Feixes and Augusti Torello Mata / Kripta. At Can Feixes we were hosted by two of the owners, one of whom is the winemaker. After the tastings, Anthony took us to lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the valley. We would definitely book another tour with Barcelona Inside and Out when in Barcelona or Catalonia.
Beautiful private winery tour
My husband and I went on wine tour with Anthony while on a recent trip to Tarragona. He picked us up from our hotel in the morning and we made our way to the beautiful Priorat region. He gave us a great background on the history of the region on our drive. Anthony organized 3 winery stops for us each with amazing selection of wines and different experience. It was so wonderful meeting the people who put their heart and soul into maintaining this wine region. I would highly recommend this tour if you like wine and some adventure.
Excellently curated private tours
My mum and I reached out to Anthony who helped us organise a full day Penedes Cava/Corpinnat wine tour as well as 2 half day trips to Girona and Montserrat. Anthony was prompt in his responses and endeavoured to cater to our requests.
For the Penedes tour Corpinnat wine tour, we had Dani as our chauffeur for the day. The car provided was exceptionally comfortable and we were able to relax and enjoy our ride with Dani at the wheel. We visited Cellar Kripta, Torello and IIopart. There was adequate time at each cellar for us to learn more about each winery's practices and wines. Of course, we simply had to bring back some wines home!
